In a thrilling night of power hitting, Alec Bohm of the Philadelphia Phillies emerged as the early frontrunner, crushing 21 home runs in the first round and another 14 in the semifinals.

Bohm's impressive performance tied him with Eugenio Hernández of the Seattle Mariners, leading to a swing-off. Despite Hernández's valiant efforts, Bohm ultimately secured his spot in the final round.

The 2024 Home Run Derby is underway at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers. This marks the 39th year that Major League Baseball has held the Home Run Derby, a showcase of the game's most prodigious hitters.
