Serbia Scores Late to Draw 1-1 with Slovenia

Serbia kept their Euro 2024 hopes alive with a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer against Slovenia on Thursday.

The result leaves Serbia in third place in Group G, one point behind Norway and four points behind leaders Scotland. Slovenia remains bottom of the group without a win.

Slovenia took the lead in the 28th minute through Benjamin Sesko's header. Serbia struggled to create chances in the first half, but they improved after the break and were rewarded with an equalizer in the 94th minute.

Dusan Vlahovic's shot was saved by Jan Oblak, but the rebound fell to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who slotted home. The goal sparked wild celebrations among the Serbian players and fans.

Serbia will now face Norway in their final group game on Tuesday. They need to win and hope that Scotland lose to Slovenia in order to qualify for the knockout stages.
